Wordle – Online “Business Card”… kinda, but neater

Wordle a new site for making snappy “cards” based on your tags from an RSS feed or your Del.icio.us tags or from a list of words you provide. Lots of fun and could have professional uses.

Scour – Search Engine combines Google, Yahoo and MSN with user rankings successfully and pays you to search too!

Scour is a new search engine that combines results from Google, Yahoo and MSN, the 3 most useful and relevant search providers. It also has user based rankings and comments so that results become more relevant and better based on human input not just web spiders. Lastly they pay you to search. This previously was a fringe service only available when you used an inferior search engine that was trying to get additional searches by paying for use.

So for all those reasons and maybe some I missed(I just started using it, but like it a lot and I am hard to win over on search engines!) The Images search could maybe use some work…I searched for cats and got pornography in addition to cats. It was 95% cats….pretty good, though not quite good enough…I still like it though, the text search seems really good.

sign up for Scour.
